This fortnight, the students had the chance to get creative capturing reflections in different surfaces, ranging from water to glass.
The entries this week covered a range of reflections found in everything from windows to bubbles!
To see all of the photography competition entries, head to the album on the Photoh Facebook page
here.
The finalists this fortnight are:
Ebony Vertigan, Adelaide

By framing this photo so that only the reflection is visible (rather than the entire scene) the viewer is drawn to the dark colours and moody light to help them decide where the image has been taken. The photo has a strong air of mystery and intrigue.
Claire Rabaa, Brisbane

The Wheel of Brisbane reflected in the glass of the opposite building has given this photo an interesting sense of height and context.
Robyn Meggs, Melbourne

This image of a distorted reflection of people below a sculpture hanging on the ceiling is a great use of abstract techniques.
Liz Barker, Perth

This reflection of an overhanging art display in a rain puddle is visually powerful because of the colour it adds to the image, and the way the stillness of the water has ensured the reflection is crystal clear.
Melanie Shaw, Perth

The ripples across the water in this image show a clear line between the real subject and the mirror image, but there is also a soft blend between the two, so that it appears almost as if the bird is kissing his own reflection.
Margaret McLennan, Sydney

Anyone who has ever tried to capture a reflection in a bubble knows how difficult it is! But Margaret has managed to do this, with great artistic effect. Well done!
The winner this fortnight is...Margaret McLennan from Sydney! Congratulations, you have won a $100 JB Hifi voucher!
And in second place we have...Liz Barker from Perth, who has won a $50 JB Hifi voucher.
