The theme this fortnight was Negative Space - a challenging topic that produced some really interesting images from all of the cities. The subjects featured in the photos were incredibly diverse – ranging from people to jewellery to buildings and even planes!
You can see all the photos that were entered in our album on the Photoh Facebook page but below are the pictures from the finalists. We got so many great entries that we chose eight photos in total!
Gary Paul - Adelaide
Gavin Marsh – Brisbane
Lyn Dwyer – Melbourne
Colleen Angel – Melbourne
Kristy Anne – Melbourne
Leece Johnson – Perth
Alan Coligado – Sydney
Rose Wang – Sydney
The winner for this fortnight is (and it was the hardest competition we’ve ever judged)...Alan Coligado! He will receive a Canon or Nikon 50mm prime lens, valued at $150.
The next photography challenge theme is Colour. Entries will open on Saturday the 25th April and close on Wednesday the 6th May at 5pm. The prize is a Canon or Nikon remote shutter release and Velbon tripod, valued together at $120, great for night photography and using long exposures in landscapes.
