Photography Competition 34: Storytelling Photography Montage

This fortnight the theme for the group classes was storytelling photography. Each city looked for stories to be told in the locations they visited, and everyone had an array of images to choose from for their competition entry. Presenting several images as a collage was a really effective way for most of the students to share multiple images from their class, while other students felt a single picture told "a thousand words".

All the photos that were entered in the competition can be viewed in the album on the Photoh Facebook page. The finalists for this fortnight are:

David Hocking - Adelaide

David Munro - Adelaide

Neil O'Loughlin - Adelaide

Kerry-Ann Waller - Brisbane

Lynne Smith - Melbourne

Jo Eaton - Perth

Neeraj Singh - Perth

Cathy Callan - Sydney

Nigel McCormick - Sydney

The winner for first prize this fortnight is...Neeraj Singh from Perth! He will receive a $100 JB HiFi voucher.

The winner for second prize is....Cathy Callan from Sydney, who has won a $50 JB HiFi voucher.

For the next photography challenge the theme is understanding your light meter and histogram. Entries will open on Saturday the 4th of June and close on Thursday the 16th of June at midnight. First prize is a $100 JB Hifi voucher and second prize is a $50 JB Hifi voucher, or a Photoh class of your choice.

Please read our post on the competition rules and guidelines if you'd like more information before submitting a photo. If you have any other questions you can email ainsley@photoh.com.au.
