The theme for the photography challenge for the group classes this fortnight was sunset photography. The groups in each state ventured out to various places overlooking the water to capture the sun as it went down over their city. The Brisbane students snapped away from the Kangaroo Cliffs, and the Sydney class based themselves at Milsons Point overlooking the harbour (before the storm clouds hit). Melbourne and Adelaide students went out to Port Melbourne and Glenelg, while Perth were shooting in Como.
You can view all the photos that were entered in the album on the Photoh Facebook page. The finalists for this fortnight are:
Alan Hamilton – Adelaide
Tara Graham – Brisbane
Travis de Valle – Melbourne
Helen Flynn – Perth
Wendy Couzens – Perth
David Tillett – Sydney
Margaret McLennan – Sydney
The winner for first prize this fortnight is...Alan Hamilton from Adelaide! He will receive a $100 JB HiFi voucher.
The winner for second prize is....David Tillett from Sydney, who has won a $50 JB HiFi voucher.
For the next photography challenge the groups will be catching up on topics they previously missed out on, due to weather issues. Melbourne, Perth and Sydney are doing backlighting, Brisbane is focusing on architecture photography and Adelaide will try motion blur again. So there is no set theme for the photography challenge this fortnight, it is completely open!
Entries will open on Saturday the 10th October and close on Wednesday the 21st October at midnight. First prize is a $100 JB Hifi voucher and second prize is a $50 JB Hifi voucher, or a Photoh class of your choice.
