This 3 hour, friendly session is a great place to learn all about how to use your camera settings, whilst also learning about photography techniques from the professional instructor.

Night photography requires a very different approach to photography in the day. Once you’ve learned these differences, you’ll be able to capture amazing photos.

What will I learn?
- All about exposure and lighting
- Using manual mode to take creative control of the photo
- Understanding and using aperture, shutter speed and ISO
- Using long exposures and flash

Outdoor Class
This class takes you on a walking tour around Perth's Chinatown and the surrounding area, so you can practise your new skills and take a variety of photos. By the end of the class, you’ll have created your own stunning night scenes!

Small Class Size
The professional photography instructor is there every step of the way to answer any questions and to help you get the most out of your camera. Maximum 6 people per class so that everyone gets plenty of one-on-one advice and feedback.

What do I need?
- Digital camera that has a manual mode option
- Fully charged batteries (and spares if possible)
- Blank image/memory cards (two or more, formatted (empty) if possible)
- Tripod is essential
- There will be a fair amount of walking involved, with plenty of stops to take photos!

Your experience doesn’t stop once the class ends! Join the Perth Photography Group where you can exchange photography tips, ask questions, receive constructive criticism on photos and chat all things photography!

More than met my expectations so that was good. Also the fact that there were only 2 of us it meant that Anna-Mair was able to spend a lot time with each of us which allowed me to really gain value from the night

I loved the course and came away having taken some fabulous photos. Anna assisted with settings along the way - - and wisely decided to distribute course notes afterwards to reduce the probability of us being overwhelmed and confused.
