This theme is all about mastering the lighting issues we face when photographing in strong sunlight, which is a common factor here in Australia.
Rather than viewing the harsh midday sun as a nuisance when you're out with your camera, we want to see how you can use the light in a creative and useful way. Think about the contrasts between light and shadow, and how you can use this to create interesting patterns, or to emphasise your chosen subject.
We'll be looking for entries that show good use of camera settings, that don't have lose detail through over or under exposure.
Entries opened on Friday 20th April, and will close on Thursday 3rd May at 11.59pm AEST.
To enter (it's free!) you can do one of the following:
Post your photo on the Photoh Facebook wall stating your city. Once on the Facebook page, you'll just need to scroll down to the 'Visitor Posts' tab on the right, and add your own.
