The competition this fortnight is Motion Blur Photography.
Motion is captured in photos by drawing attention to the speed at which a subject or object is moving, in relation to the other things around it. A streaky look is created when a subject is moving, but other things in the same frame are still.
Motion blur is a great way of showing movement in a still photograph, and using your camera's shutter speed to create the illusion of something zooming through the frame.
We're looking for entries that use motion blur in a creative way to show movement and there are a lot of techniques you could use: panning, long exposure, light trails and zooming whilst the shutter is open. Which one will you try?
Competition entries opened on Friday 2nd November, and will close on Thursday 15th November at 23.59 AEST.
To enter (it's free!) you can do one of the following:
Post your photo (one per person unless it's a collage saved as a single image) on the Photoh Facebook wall stating your city. Once on the Facebook page, you'll just need to scroll down to the 'Visitor Posts' tab on the right, and add your own.
