Selecting where you would like to focus when composing a photograph is something that you should always be aware of when using your camera. If you rely on auto-focus to select what it thinks should be in focus, then why don't you have a go at selecting the focal area yourself, or even switching to full manual focus?
You may find that you spend a bit more time composing each shot, which is a good practice if you often snap away without thinking.
For this challenge we'll be looking at how you use the aperture settings when composing a photograph, and the thought process behind which part of the photo is in focus.
You can get creative with what you place in the foreground and also introduce techniques such as bokeh.
