Aperture Priority: Also known as AV, this is a mode available on some digital cameras that allows the photographer to choose the desired aperture ( or F-Stop) and the camera will automatically determine the best shutter speed to match.
Aperture priority is a method of maintaining a fixed depth of field while shooting under rapidly changing lighting conditions.
